Happy Father’s Day to all the dad’s out there no matter how you came to be called “Dad”.
I like Father’s Day better than Mother’s Day because there isn’t all that pressure. Maybe mom’s can have that one day when we are all on equal ground as parents of our children. I would love it if we weren’t bombarded with all those freaking commercials showing the fabulous things tv mom gets making the rest of us believe we should get the same things to prove we are good moms, too.
Say “Happy Father’s Day” this year by speaking out for father’s rights. If we want women’s rights to advance, we must advance father’s rights. When men and women are seen as equally qualified and responsible in the care of their children, women’s rights will make advances. We cannot advance as a group when we are marginalizing another.
